Her art practice involves navigating the boundary between tangible, material characters and intangible, transparent ones to express a space where text and the human psyche resonate, utilizing mixed media. Growing up in Japan and cultivating her interest in calligraphy from a young age, she has come to view "writing characters" as a means to "consciously exist in the present." This exploration led her to China, where she delved into calligraphy theory and techniques, forming the foundation of her thoughts and creative work. While drawn to the narratives, vitality, and physicality unique to characters in the Chinese cultural sphere, she also holds an interest in contemporary and novel script forms. Characters, influenced by civilization, culture, societal conditions, and technological advancements, transcend time and space to carry people's emotions and adapt their form throughout history. Nevertheless, her endeavor is to capture the enduring "characters that linger in the human mind" from ancient to modern times.

1991年静岡県浜松市生まれ。2015年中国美術学院書法系書法篆刻専業本科卒業。2018年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科グローバルアートプラクティス専攻修了。現在は横浜を拠点に活動する。

形ある物質的な文字と無色透明な文字の境界を行き来し、文字と人間の心が共鳴する空間をミクストメディアで表現することをアートプラクティスとする。幼少期から書道に親しんできた経験から「文字を書くこと」が「今、ここにいる私を意識するための方法」であるという考えるようになった。それから自身の「文字を書くこと」のルーツを辿って行き着いた中国では書法の理論や技術を学び、今も思考と制作の軸となっている。漢字文化圏特有の文字が持つ物語や生命力、身体性に思いを馳せる一方で、新しい文字や現代社会の文字の在り方にも興味を寄せる。文字は文明、文化、社会情勢、科学技術の進歩などの影響を受け、時空を超えて人々の思いを運び、歴史の中で様々な姿形をとってきた。それでも古代から現代まで人々の心の中にずっと存在し続ける「心の中に浮かぶ文字」を捉えようと試みる。
